Beautiful venue for lunch, fabulous, really healthy, home produced food. A bit expensive, but worth every penny. Spoil yourself at fabulous Avoca. I highly recommend it. And it's the oldest still working woolen mill in the world, established in 1723 ... Wow!. I was disappointed that they no longer have anyone working at a hand loom for visitors to see. It used to be possible to wander around the hand loom shed where men worked making rugs by hand. This is all closed off now, which is a real shame. Big disappointment for myself, my son, my mother and friend from Cork. Beautiful place though. I highly recommend a visit.

Food at Avoca is outstanding quality, so delicious and amazing value, i can't remember the last time i had such a delicious meal and the colourful salads are a sight to behold on the plate. The atmosphere here is amazing, its been here since 1723, a piece of history. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Can't wait to come back.

The most delicious food in the most beautiful setting. We visited on two occasions while staying just outside the Avoca village on holiday. The food is delicious and fresh. The cakes are amazing. The staff are so lovely and friendly. The shop also have some beautiful items. Next time we are visiting Ireland and hiking the Wicklow mountains we will definitely be stopping here again. The best!
